### Sabbath Regulations
[[#Verse 01.]]Ā Moses assembled the whole community of the Israelites and said to them, āThese are the things that theĀ LordĀ has commanded you to do.Ā
[[#Verse 02.]]Ā In six daysĀ work may be done, but on the seventh day there must be a holy dayĀ for you, a Sabbath of complete rest to theĀ Lord.Ā Anyone who does work on it will be put to death.Ā
[[#Verse 03.]]Ā You must not kindle a fireĀ in any of your homesĀ on the Sabbath day.ā
### Willing Workers
[[#Verse 04.]]Ā Ā Moses spoke to the whole community of the Israelites, āThis is the word that theĀ LordĀ has commanded:Ā
[[#Verse 05.]]Ā āTakeĀ an offering for theĀ Lord. Let everyone who has a willing heartĀ bringĀ an offering to theĀ Lord:Ā gold, silver, bronze;Ā
[[#Verse 06.]]Ā blue, purple, and scarlet yarn; fine linen; goatsā hair;Ā
[[#Verse 07.]]Ā ram skins dyed red; fine leather;Ā acacia wood;
[[#Verse 08.]]Ā olive oil for the light; spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense;Ā
[[#Verse 09.]]Ā onyx stones, and other gemsĀ for mountingĀ on the ephod and the breastpiece.Ā
[[#Verse 10.]]Ā Every skilled personĀ among you is to come and make all that theĀ LordĀ has commanded:Ā
[[#Verse 11.]]Ā the tabernacle withĀ its tent, its covering, its clasps, its frames, its crossbars, its posts, and its bases;Ā
[[#Verse 12.]]Ā the ark, with its poles, the atonement lid, and the special curtain that conceals it;Ā
[[#Verse 13.]]Ā the table with its poles and all its vessels, and the Bread of the Presence;Ā
[[#Verse 14.]]Ā the lampstand forĀ the light and its accessories, its lamps, and oil for the light;Ā
[[#Verse 15.]]Ā and the altar of incense with its poles, the anointing oil, and the fragrant incense; the hanging for the door at the entrance of the tabernacle;Ā
[[#Verse 16.]]Ā the altar for the burnt offering with its bronze grating that is on it, its poles, and all its utensils; the large basin and its pedestal;Ā
[[#Verse 17.]]Ā the hangings of the courtyard, its posts and its bases, and the curtain for the gateway to the courtyard;Ā
[[#Verse 18.]]Ā tent pegs for the tabernacle and tent pegs for the courtyard and their ropes;Ā
[[#Verse 19.]]Ā the woven garments for serving in the Holy Place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments for his sons to minister as priests.āā
[[#Verse 20.]]Ā So the whole community of the Israelites went out from the presence of Moses.Ā
[[#Verse 21.]]Ā EveryoneĀ whose heart stirred him to actionĀ and everyone whose spirit was willingĀ came and brought the offering for theĀ LordĀ for the work of the tent of meeting, for all its service, and for the holy garments.Ā
[[#Verse 22.]]Ā They came, men and women alike,Ā all who had willing hearts. They brought brooches, earrings, rings and ornaments, all kinds of gold jewelry,Ā and everyone came who wavedĀ a wave offering of gold to theĀ Lord.
[[#Verse 23.]]Ā Everyone who hadĀ blue, purple, orĀ scarlet yarn, fine linen, goatsā hair, ram skins dyed red, or fine leatherĀ brought them.Ā
[[#Verse 24.]]Ā Everyone making an offering of silver or bronze brought it asĀ an offering to theĀ Lord, and everyone who had acacia woodĀ for any work of the service brought it.Ā
[[#Verse 25.]]Ā Every woman who was skilledĀ spun with her hands and brought what she had spun, blue, purple, or scarlet yarn, or fine linen,Ā
[[#Verse 26.]]Ā and all the women whose heart stirred them to action and who were skilledĀ spun goatsā hair.
[[#Verse 27.]]Ā The leaders brought onyx stones and other gems to be mountedĀ for the ephod and the breastpiece,Ā
[[#Verse 28.]]Ā and spices and olive oil for the light, for the anointing oil, and for the fragrant incense.
[[#Verse 29.]]Ā The Israelites brought a freewill offering to theĀ Lord, every man and woman whose heart was willing to bring materials for all the work that theĀ LordĀ throughĀ Moses had commanded themĀ to do.
[[#Verse 30.]]Ā Moses said to the Israelites, āSee, theĀ LordĀ has chosenĀ Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.Ā
[[#Verse 31.]]Ā He has filled him with the Spirit of Godāwith skill, with understanding, with knowledge, and in all kinds of workāĀ
[[#Verse 32.]]Ā to design artistic designs, to work in gold, in silver, and in bronze,Ā
[[#Verse 33.]]Ā and in cutting stones for their setting,Ā and in cutting wood, to do work in every artistic craft.Ā
[[#Verse 34.]]Ā And he has put it in his heartĀ to teach, he and Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.Ā
[[#Verse 35.]]Ā He has filled them with skillĀ to do all kinds of workĀ as craftsmen, as designers, as embroiderers in blue, purple, and scarlet yarn and in fine linen, and as weavers. They areĀ craftsmen in all the workĀ and artistic designers.
