### Grain-Offering Regulations: Offering of Raw Flour
[[#Verse 01.]]Ā āāWhen a person presents a grain offeringĀ to theĀ Lord, his offering must consist of choice wheat flour,Ā and he must pour olive oil on it and put frankincenseĀ on it.Ā
[[#Verse 02.]]Ā Then he must bring it to the sons of Aaron, the priests, and the priestĀ must scoop out from there a handful of its choice wheat flour and some of its olive oil in addition to all of its frankincense, and the priest must offer its memorial portionĀ up in smoke on the altarāit isĀ a gift of a soothing aroma to theĀ Lord.Ā
[[#Verse 03.]]Ā The remainder of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and to his sonsāit isĀ most holyĀ from the gifts of theĀ Lord.
### Processed Grain Offerings
[[#Verse 04.]] āāWhen you present an offering of grain baked in an oven, it must be made ofĀ choice wheat flour baked into unleavened loavesĀ mixed with olive oil orĀ unleavened wafers smearedĀ with olive oil.Ā
[[#Verse 05.]]Ā If your offering is a grain offering made on the griddle, it must be choice wheat flour mixed with olive oil, unleavened.Ā
[[#Verse 06.]]Ā Crumble it in piecesĀ and pour olive oil on itāit is a grain offering.Ā
[[#Verse 07.]]Ā If your offering is a grain offering made in a pan,Ā it must be made of choice wheat flour deep fried in olive oil.
[[#Verse 08.]]Ā āāYou must bring the grain offering that must be made from these to theĀ Lord. Present it to the priest,Ā and he will bring it to the altar.Ā
[[#Verse 09.]]Ā Then the priest must take upĀ from the grain offering its memorial portion and offer it up in smoke on the altarāit isĀ a gift of a soothing aroma to theĀ Lord.Ā
[[#Verse 10.]]Ā The remainder of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and to his sonsāit isĀ most holy from the gifts of theĀ Lord.
### Additional Grain-Offering Regulations
[[#Verse 11.]]Ā āāNo grain offering which you present to theĀ LordĀ can be made with yeast,Ā for you must not offer up in smoke any yeast or honey as a gift to theĀ Lord.Ā
[[#Verse 12.]]Ā You can present them to theĀ LordĀ as an offering of firstfruit,Ā but they must not go up to the altar for a soothing aroma.Ā
[[#Verse 13.]]Ā Moreover, you must season every one of your grain offerings with salt; you must not allow the salt of the covenant of your God to be missing from your grain offeringāon every one of your grain offerings you must present salt.
[[#Verse 14.]]Ā āāIf you present a grain offering of first ripe grain to theĀ Lord, you must present your grain offering of first ripe grain as soft kernels roasted in fireācrushed bits of fresh grain.Ā
[[#Verse 15.]]Ā And you must put olive oil on it and set frankincense on itāit is a grain offering.Ā
[[#Verse 16.]]Ā Then the priest must offer its memorial portion up in smokeāsome of its crushed bits, some of its olive oil, in addition to all of its frankincenseāit isĀ a gift to theĀ Lord.
