### Vision Eight: The Chariots
[[#Verse 01.]]Ā Once more I looked, and this time I saw four chariots emerging from between two mountains of bronze.Ā
[[#Verse 02.]]Ā Harnessed to the first chariot were red horses, to the second black horses,
[[#Verse 03.]]Ā to the third white horses, and to the fourth spotted horses, all of them strong.Ā
[[#Verse 04.]]Ā Then I asked the angelic messengerĀ who was speaking with me, āWhat are these, sir?āĀ
[[#Verse 05.]]Ā The messenger replied, āThese are the four spiritsĀ of heaven going out after presenting themselves before the Lord of all the earth.Ā
[[#Verse 06.]]Ā The chariot with the black horses is going to the north country, and the white ones are going after them, but the spotted ones are going to the south country.Ā
[[#Verse 07.]]Ā All these strong onesĀ are scattering; they have sought permission to go and walk about over the earth.ā The Lord had said, āGo! Walk about over the earth!ā So they are doing so.Ā
[[#Verse 08.]]Ā Then he cried out to me, āLook! The ones going to the northland have brought meĀ peace about the northland.ā
### A Concluding Oracle
[[#Verse 09.]]Ā TheĀ Lordās message came to me as follows:Ā
[[#Verse 10.]]Ā āChoose some peopleĀ from among the exiles, namely, Heldai, Tobijah, and Jedaiah, all who have come from Babylon, and when you have done so go to the house of Josiah son of Zephaniah.Ā
[[#Verse 11.]]Ā Then take some silver and gold to make a crownĀ and set it on the head of Joshua the high priest, the son of Jehozadak.Ā
[[#Verse 12.]]Ā Then say to him, āTheĀ LordĀ of Heavenās Armies says, āLookāhere is the man whose name is Branch,Ā who will sprout up from his place and build the temple of theĀ Lord.Ā
[[#Verse 13.]]Ā Indeed, he will build the temple of theĀ Lord, and he will be clothed in splendor, sitting as king on his throne. Moreover, there will be a priestĀ with him on his throne and they will see eye to eye on everything.Ā
[[#Verse 14.]]Ā The crown will then be turned over to Helem,Ā Tobijah, Jedaiah, and HenĀ son of Zephaniah as a memorial in the temple of theĀ Lord.Ā
[[#Verse 15.]]Ā Then those who are far awayĀ will come and build the temple of theĀ LordĀ so that you may know that theĀ LordĀ of Heavenās Armies has sent me to you. This will all come to pass if you completely obey the voice of theĀ LordĀ your God.āāā
