Mind, will, emotions, and spiritual part. Trichotomy: Body, soul, and spirit. - Body- flesh - Soul- Mind, will, and emotions. - Spirit- spiritual self. Majority view throughout history is dichotomy. This would mean the soul and spirit are the same. I do not see this as a primary issue or essential doctrine. - I was raised to think from a Trichotomy view but think I can see more of the dichotomist view. Both views have text that can support it. However, there is more theological grounding that would lean toward dichotomists.
