HOW?- Jesus says that just as Jonah was in the belly of the whale for 3 days and three nights... He will be dead too. (This was an _idiom_ that was used in Jewish culture. Kind of like people saying they have been working night and day to symbolize they have been working hard. Jesus was simply saying He is going to go away through difficulty but come back again.)
